Sunrise game drive in the Serengeti

About Trail Safari Explorers

Local-led luxury safaris, Kilimanjaro climbs and island escapes — handcrafted with care, expertise and respect.

Our Story

Born here,
built for you.

Trail Safari Explorers was founded to bring people closer to Tanzania — its wildlife, its cultures and its landscapes — without compromising on comfort or purpose.

We combine first‑hand knowledge of the land with a passion for exceptional service to create journeys that are thoughtful, authentic and deeply personal. Every trip is designed around what matters to you: the animals you want to see, the pace you prefer, and the meaningful connections you want to make.

Sustainability & Impact

Travel that does good.

We believe excellent travel should also do good. We prioritise lodges and partners with strong environmental practices, provide employment and training for local people, and channel part of our revenue into community and conservation initiatives.

Through our partnerships with organisations like Isoitok Camp Manyara and Hope and Soul Tanzania, guests can participate in hands-on conservation projects and meaningful community experiences — turning a safari into something that gives back.
