Ok so I was pretty nervous about doing a safari alone as a woman but Trail Safari Explorers made me feel totally comfortable from day 1. Got matched with a small group (couple from Germany, guy from UK) and our guide William was just brilliant. So respectful, professional, super knowledgeable. The Serengeti...WOW. No words. We saw the wildebeest migration which was absolutely insane - thousands and thousands of animals! William knew exactly where to position us to see river crossings with crocodiles waiting. Accommodations felt safe, staff everywhere was lovely. Food was really good too. William's enthusiasm for conservation made the whole experience even more meaningful. If you're a solo female traveler wondering about Tanzania safari - DO IT. Trail Safari Explorers is professional and trustworthy. Amazing experience!!!

Absolutely blown away by this experience. We did a 10-day Tanzania safari with Trail Safari Explorers and we're still processing how incredible it was. Our guide Emmanuel was exceptional. His knowledge of wildlife behavior was remarkable, he didn't just identify animals, he explained their behaviors, social structures, ecological roles. Fascinating stuff. We covered the northern circuit thoroughly: Tarangire for elephants, Lake Manyara, Serengeti (central and northern), and Ngorongoro Crater. Each location is unique. The Serengeti migration river crossing was the most dramatic wildlife spectacle we've ever witnessed. Saw all Big Five multiple times, plus cheetahs, wild dogs, countless bird species. Emmanuel's spotting ability was uncanny. Accommodations exceeded expectations, the tented camps especially. Waking to zebras grazing outside your tent is surreal. Food throughout was excellent quality. Trail Safari Explorers runs a professional operation. From pre-trip communication to on-ground logistics, everything seamless. Emmanuel made it extraordinary. Highly recommend for serious wildlife enthusiasts.

Family trip of a lifetime!!! Our family of four just got back from Tanzania and I honestly can't stop talking about it!! Trail Safari Explorers made everything SO easy and our guide Moses was INCREDIBLE with our kids (ages 9 and 12). Moses turned every game drive into an adventure. My daughter who usually complains about everything was completely engaged the entire time. We saw all the Big Five and Moses was so patient answering their million questions lol. The Serengeti was absolutely mind-blowing. The lodges were way nicer than we expected — comfortable beds, great food, and the staff was so friendly. If you're thinking about a family safari in Tanzania, Trail Safari Explorers is THE ONE. Moses made this trip unforgettable for all of us. Worth every penny!!
