A booking becomes binding once we issue a written confirmation and invoice. The lead booker is responsible for full payment of the travel price on behalf of all travelers and for ensuring that all members of the party comply with these terms.

2. Payments

  • Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, debit card and credit card.
  • A 30% deposit of the total itinerary cost is required within 10 days of receiving the invoice.
  • The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 61 days prior to departure.
  • Bookings made within 61 days of departure require full payment at the time of booking or within 2 days of invoicing.
  • Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in cancellation of the booking and application of cancellation charges.

3. Pricing & surcharges

All prices are quoted per person (unless stated otherwise) and are based on costs known at the time of quotation.

We reserve the right to adjust prices to reflect increases in costs beyond our control, including but not limited to fuel, transportation, park or conservation fees, local taxes, or currency fluctuations.

4. Cancellations & refunds

Client cancellations

If you cancel your booking, the following charges apply:

  • 61 days or more before departure: the deposit is non-refundable.
  • 60 days or fewer before departure: 100% of the itinerary cost is payable.

5. Force majeure

Trail Safari Explorers is not liable for failure to perform or delay in performing obligations caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, war, civil unrest, epidemics, strikes, government actions, transport disruptions or airport closures. In such circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to assist, but refunds are not guaranteed.

6. Carriers & third-party suppliers

Travel services may be provided by independent third-party suppliers such as accommodation providers, transport companies and activity operators. These services are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective suppliers and applicable international conventions. Trail Safari Explorers Africa is not responsible for acts or omissions of such third parties beyond what is required by law.

7. Liability

We undertake to perform our services with reasonable skill and care. Our liability for proven direct loss arising from our negligence is limited to a reasonable multiple of the travel sum paid, except where such limitation is not permitted by law. We are not liable for losses arising from the actions of the traveler, third parties not engaged by us, or events of force majeure.

8. Travel documents & entry requirements

Travelers are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas and any required entry or health documentation for all destinations visited. Trail Safari Explorers Africa accepts no liability for problems arising from incomplete or incorrect travel documents.

9. Governing law & jurisdiction
