Depart Arusha ~8:00am, ~2-hr drive to Tarangire National Park. Afternoon game drive among Tarangire's elephant herds, ancient baobabs and riverine woodland.

Early breakfast, depart Tarangire → Central Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Highlands, with a game drive en route as time allows. Arrive Serengeti by evening.

Full-day game drive through Central and Northern Serengeti — prime lion, cheetah and (seasonal) migration territory. Picnic lunch in the bush; optional sundowner drive.
