Tanzania Visa Guide
Complete requirements for e-visa, visa on arrival, and entry to Tanzania.
Option 1: E-Visa (Recommended)
- Apply online at immigration.go.tz
- Processing: 5-10 business days
- Valid 90 days from issue
- Print approval letter for arrival
Option 2: Visa on Arrival
- Available at JRO, DAR, ZNZ airports
- USD cash only (no cards)
- May require queuing at peak times
- Not available at all border crossings
Passport Requirements
Valid 6+ months beyond departure date
Minimum 4 consecutive blank pages
Photocopies and digital backups recommended
Return/onward ticket may be requested
