Serengeti Mobile Camps β Following the Migration
Luxury that moves. These camps pack up and relocate to stay where the wildlife is, season after season.
How Mobile Camps Work
Mobile camps are semi-permanent tented camps that relocate 2-4 times per year to follow the Great Migration. In January-March, they are in the southern Serengeti for calving season. In June, they move to the Western Corridor. In July-October, they are in the north for river crossings. In November-December, they return south.
The camps are set up before your arrival: spacious canvas tents with real beds, en-suite bathrooms with hot bucket showers, flush toilets, and full dining facilities. When you leave, they are dismantled and moved to the next location.

Why Choose a Mobile Camp?
- Location, location, location β You sleep where the action is
- No vehicle crowds β Mobile camps are in areas with fewer other lodges
- Intimate β 8-16 guests maximum
- Authentic β Canvas walls, sounds of the bush, starlit skies
- Value β Often cheaper than permanent lodges in the same areas
